IOWN Energy facilitates sale of 127 MW / 506 MWh Roccasecca battery storage project to DESRI

IOWN Energy facilitated the all-cash sale of the 127 MW / 506 MWh Roccasecca battery energy storage project to DESRI, a renewable energy company focused on developing, owning, and operating renewable energy projects, on April 1, 2026. DESRI is a company that aims to provide clean energy solutions and contribute to a sustainable energy future. The project, located in Boulder City, Nevada, is currently under construction and is expected to reach commercial operation in 2026. The Roccasecca project has a 15-year tolling agreement in place, providing long-term revenue stability for the asset. The transaction involved the transfer of all shares of the project special purpose vehicle, with IOWN Energy acting on behalf of its client, Eolus North America.
