The company is in the preliminary stages of evaluating this property for potential data center or industrial-related development. The site shares a border with a railroad, has 345kV high-voltage transmission lines running through it, and is adjacent to an AEP electric substation. Karis is also potentially looking to add additional acreage to the site, which is located on the Big Darby Watershed. Residents and authorities have expressed concerns about the potential impact on the freshwater ecosystem.
