Kraken Technology Group partners with Anduril Industries to deliver unmanned surface vehicles to the U.S. Navy
UK defense start-up Kraken Technology Group announced a partnership with Anduril Industries to deliver a family of small unmanned surface vehicles to the U.S. Navy. Under the agreement, Anduril will manufacture the K5 KRAKEN and K7 SABRE vessels at U.S. facilities while providing fleet sustainment and support services. Kraken will operate a parallel production line to meet allied demand, designing a distinct hull variant tailored to allied operational requirements. The collaboration leverages Anduril's integration of payloads and Lattice autonomy software on U.S. soil, configuring each vessel for a full range of Navy missions. Clifford Chance's cross-border team advised Kraken on regulatory (CFIUS), antitrust, M&A, and IP aspects of the transaction.
