LS Electric secures $216.5 million supply agreement with Bloom Energy for New Mexico data center power distribution systems
Korean electrical equipment manufacturer LS Electric secured a 319 billion won ($216.5 million) contract to supply power distribution systems to Bloom Energy for a large-scale data center project in New Mexico. The deal will provide Bloom with power distribution solutions for the data center, which is likely Project Jupiter being developed by Oracle and BorderPlex Digital Assets in Doña Ana County. Bloom Energy is deploying up to 2.45GW of its solid oxide fuel cell solution at the data center as its primary power option, part of an expanded partnership with Oracle signed earlier in 2026. Oracle, confirmed as the major tenant of Project Jupiter in January 2026, will occupy the 1,400-acre campus with four data center buildings representing up to $165 billion in investment. The project will host AI infrastructure for OpenAI once construction is complete.
