Münch Gruppe secured three long-term project financings for battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, totaling 250 MW / 500 MWh. The financings include a 100 MW / 200 MWh package with an unnamed regional lender, a 100 MW / 200 MWh deal with DAL announced in January 2026, and a 50 MW / 100 MWh financing with IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG. These projects form part of Münch Gruppe's 500 MWh storage cluster, aimed at strengthening regional grid stability and supporting local communities. The financings demonstrate the growing maturity of the BESS sector in Germany, with Münch Energie operating the projects entirely on a market basis. Capcora served as the exclusive financial advisor, structuring and closing the bilateral financing agreements with the three lenders. The successful execution of three parallel bilateral project financings highlights the bankability of BESS projects when processes and technical concepts are prepared to high standards.
