Macquarie Capital and its partners, including Stonepeak, Manila Electric Company, and Global Network Inc., have completed a transaction to merge PhilTower Consortium Inc. and Miescor Infrastructure Development Corporation, creating one of the largest independent telecommunications tower companies in the Philippines. This new entity will manage a portfolio of over 3,300 operational towers and a pipeline of more than 2,100 committed orders, aiming to meet the country's growing demand for connectivity and digital infrastructure. Macquarie Capital, a shareholder in PhilTower since 2021, also supported PhilTower's acquisition of up to 1,350 telecommunications towers from Globe Telecom Inc. as part of this strategic consolidation.
