Mase authorizes 302 MW of BESS projects across Italy, including a 130 MW plant by Enfinity Global

The Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security (Mase) has authorized 302 MW of new electrochemical energy storage (BESS) projects across Lombardy, Puglia, Piedmont, and Veneto. This includes a 130 MW BESS plant in Loreo (Rovigo) proposed by EG Orchidea Srl, a subsidiary of Enfinity Global. Other authorized projects include a 24 MW BESS by Aura IT 10 Srl in Pegognaga, a 48 MW BESS by SKI 38 Srl in Villa Castelli, and a 100 MW BESS by RNE20 Srl in Turin.
