The Ministry of Environment and Energy Security (MASE) has issued a positive environmental compatibility opinion for the 'Capobianco' agrivoltaic project, a substantial 250 MW solar installation. This material development is planned across the Sicilian provinces of Enna and Catania, specifically in the municipalities of Assoro, Raddusa, and Enna. The project aims to integrate agricultural activities with solar energy generation, contributing to the renewable energy targets of Southern Italy.
