Matrix Energia signed a supply agreement with Pacto Energia Distribuição Paraná to deliver ten battery energy storage systems (BESS) totaling 20 MWh in Coronel Vivida, Paraná. The project, valued at approximately R$ 30 million, marks Matrix Energia's expansion into grid-scale storage solutions for energy distribution utilities in Brazil. Pacto Energia Distribuição Paraná will integrate the systems to enhance grid stability and renewable energy integration in the southwestern region of Paraná. The BESS deployment is expected to support peak demand management and reduce reliance on diesel generators during outages.
