Miami International Airport opens first Wait n Rest sleep room facility in North America

Amsterdam-based Wait n Rest has made its inaugural entry into the North American market, launching its first airport sleep room facility at Miami International Airport (MIA) in Concourse D. This expansion represents a strategic pivot for Wait n Rest, moving beyond its established portfolio of 15 highway service areas across four European countries into the airport hospitality sector. The new Miami facility, now operating, offers 15 luxury sleep rooms designed to accommodate one to four passengers, each equipped with hotel-standard bedding, touchscreen entertainment, and access to private showers and bathrooms. Miami International Airport, serving over 52 million passengers annually, benefits from enhancing its passenger amenities with this premium offering, providing private spaces for relaxation, sleep, or work. A second Wait n Rest facility is already slated to open later this year in Concourse H, indicating a planned, phased expansion within the Miami hub.
