NavPrakriti partners with NASH Energy for battery recycling
NavPrakriti, a Kolkata-headquartered lithium-ion battery recycler, has partnered with NASH Energy to manage the end-of-life of batteries produced by NASH Energy, including production scrap. This collaboration aims to maximize material recovery and ensure compliance with India's Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations for battery waste. NavPrakriti's Serampore facility has a processing capacity of 1,000 tonnes of spent batteries per month, with plans to expand to 24,000 tonnes annually, supporting NASH Energy's 2 GWh prismatic battery pack manufacturing line in Dobbaspet, Bengaluru.
