Type: Financing · Technology: Data Center · Country: Finland · Value: $775M · Announced: 2026-07-20
Nebius obtained a $775 million senior secured debt facility to fund its global AI cloud and data‑center expansion. The facility, priced at SOFR + 2.50 percent, matures at the end of October 2030 and is structured by MUFG as the sole bookrunner and underwriter. Mandated lead arrangers ABN AMRO Bank N.V., Bank of America, Deutsche Bank and HSBC, together with senior lead arrangers Citi, Crédit Agricole CIB, ING and Morgan Stanley, joined the syndicate, while Goldman Sachs also participated. The financing will cover capital expenditures for Nebius’s AI‑focused data‑center projects, including the Mäntsälä site in Finland, and is backed by existing GPU infrastructure and contracted cash flow from an investment‑grade customer. The deal underscores Nebius’s strategy to combine owned data centers with asset‑light partnerships to build a sustainable AI cloud business with durable margins.
