Niv-AI raises $12 million in seed funding for data center energy efficiency technology
Data center energy efficiency startup Niv-AI has secured $12 million in seed funding to develop technology that analyzes GPU power spikes based on workload type. This allows for active synchronization of energy and compute, unlocking stranded capacity for data center developers to make more cost-efficient energy use choices. The Israeli startup plans to have an operational system in some American data centers within the next six to eight months. The funding round was led by Glilot Capital, Grove Ventures, Arc VC, Encoded VC, Leap Forward, and Aurora. Niv-AI aims to help data center operators reduce contracted energy usage without impacting performance.
