Nordex wins 35MW Frettertal wind farm turbine supply and service contract with STAWAG Energie

Nordex Group secured a 35MW turbine supply and 20-year Premium Service contract for the Frettertal wind farm in Finnentrop, Sauerland region, Germany. The order includes five N163/6.X turbines with 164-meter hub heights, optimized for the site's deep-cut valleys and ridges. Installation is scheduled to begin in summer 2027, with commissioning planned for early 2028. The project targets a region with historically limited wind energy expansion but material potential through modern turbine technology. STAWAG Energie, a subsidiary of STAWAG, will develop the project to strengthen local renewable energy capacity.
