OneSubsea and Beacon Offshore Energy sign supply agreement for Shenandoah field subsea boosting system

Supply Agreement Oil Gas announced United States Apr 10, 2026

OneSubsea, a joint venture backed by SLB, Aker Solutions, and Subsea7, secured a contract from Beacon Offshore Energy to supply a high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) multiphase boosting system for the Shenandoah field in the Gulf of America. The system is engineered to operate above 15,000 psi, addressing conditions that exceed conventional subsea technology limits, enabling enhanced recovery and accelerated production from the deepwater field. Beacon Offshore Energy completed the first phase of the Shenandoah field development in October 2025, achieving a target production rate of 100,000 barrels of oil per day (bopd) and 117,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) from four development wells. The Shenandoah floating production system (FPS), installed at Walker Ridge 52 in approximately 5,800 feet of water, has a nameplate capacity of 120,000 bopd and 140 million cubic feet per day (mmcfd). The FPS is designed as a regional host facility to support additional resources, including the Monument and Shenandoah South discoveries, which together with Shenandoah are expected to hold nearly 600 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMBOE) in recoverable resources.
