Perpetual Next selects Bilfinger for Methanol Moerdijk project permitting
Perpetual Next has selected Bilfinger to provide key permitting activities for its Methanol Moerdijk project. This agreement covers environmental impact assessments, environmental and nature permit support, and stakeholder coordination for the large-scale biomethanol facility. The project aims to convert approximately 313,000 tonnes of biocarbon into around 216,000 tonnes of biomethanol annually. Bilfinger's expertise in complex industrial environmental permitting and its integrated approach to EIA and permit applications were key factors in the selection. The scope includes multiple permitting sprints, stakeholder analysis, and environmental sub-studies covering air quality, noise, water, and ecology.
