PNE sells 25.2MW Bokel wind farm in Germany to Union Investment-managed fund
PNE AG completed the sale of the 25.2MW Bokel wind farm in Germany to an investment fund managed by Union Investment on April 30, 2026. The project, commissioned in April 2025, consists of seven turbines and generates enough electricity to supply approximately 17,800 three-person households annually. PNE AG retained operational management of the asset through its subsidiary energy consult until at least the end of 2029. The transaction forms part of PNE AG's strategy to strengthen its financial base while continuing to expand its own generation portfolio. Roland Stanze, chief operating officer of PNE AG, emphasized the long-term, responsible, and sustainable approach of the buyer, noting the deal creates additional strategic flexibility for future initiatives.
