Portland General Electric and Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs' $250M transmission line upgrade project

Portland General Electric partnered with the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs to upgrade power transmission lines on the Warm Springs Reservation in central Oregon. The $250 million project aimed to increase capacity to transmit renewable electricity generated in central Oregon to customers in the Willamette Valley. The DOE grant for this project was terminated by the Trump administration.
