PROPWR, a business unit of ProPetro Holding Corp., finalized a strategic framework agreement with Caterpillar Inc to purchase up to 2.1 gigawatts of incremental power generation capacity by 2031. The deal includes a minimum commitment of 1.5 GW with an option to expand to 2.1 GW over the next five years, building on prior orders totaling approximately 550 MW. By year-end 2031, PROPWR expects to have 2.6 GW of power generation capacity delivered, with full deployment anticipated in 2032. The agreement targets data center, oil and gas, and industrial customers, aiming to provide efficient and reliable power solutions. Travis Simmering, PROPWR president, highlighted the milestone as a key expansion of the company's collaboration with Caterpillar, reinforcing its leadership in high-efficiency power-as-a-service solutions.
