Q Energy France and Fermes d’Avenir sign framework agreement to support agricultural transition with solar PV integration

Partnership Solar announced France Apr 1, 2026

Q Energy France, a subsidiary of Hanwha Solutions, and Fermes d’Avenir, a member of Groupe SOS advocating for sustainable agriculture, signed a framework agreement on April 1, 2026, to jointly support agricultural projects integrating solar photovoltaic panels. The partnership aims to provide technical and economic assistance to farms transitioning to agroecological models, combining expertise from the renewable energy and agricultural sectors. A two-year pilot deployment was announced in the Vienne and Deux-Sèvres departments of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, leveraging Q Energy France’s existing portfolio of operational and developmental wind and solar projects in the region. Fermes d’Avenir will guide local project developers through feasibility studies, economic structuring, and operational implementation, while Q Energy France seeks to deepen its territorial roots and enhance local acceptance of its renewable energy initiatives. If successful, the framework could be expanded to additional French regions, marking a strategic shift for Q Energy France beyond pure electricity production.
