QTS targets two new data center campuses in Georgia and expands in Texas
QTS, owned by Blackstone, is targeting two new data center campuses in Georgia, including a 12 million sq ft campus in Blakely and a campus in Augusta with investments set to total over $2 billion. Additionally, QTS is expanding its DFW2 campus in Wilmer, Texas, with two new buildings totaling 363,500 sq ft and a $290 million investment, with construction starting in July 2026.

The Blakely campus could total 12 million sq ft (1.11 million sqm). The Blakely project will use a closed-loop cooling system. QTS is also developing a campus in Augusta, Georgia, on more than 170 acres, which could total six data center buildings, with the first planned for completion as soon as 2027. Construction has reportedly begun in Augusta. QTS is expanding its DFW2 campus in Wilmer, Texas, with two new buildings (DC5 and DC6) at 421 Mason Road, totaling 363,500 sq ft (33,770 sqm). Construction on the DFW2 buildings would start in July 2026 for a September 2027 completion date.
