Quality Care India Ltd signs 30 MW solar PPAs with AMPIN Energy Transition and Radiance Renewables
Quality Care India Ltd (QCIL) executed solar power purchase agreements (PPAs) with AMPIN Energy Transition and Radiance Renewables to source 30 MW of renewable energy capacity across multiple Indian states. The agreements target a combined capacity of 30 MW, with QCIL aiming to reduce its annual carbon emissions by 40,000 tonnes through the transition to solar power. AMPIN Energy Transition and Radiance Renewables will develop, own, and operate the solar projects to supply clean energy to QCIL’s healthcare facilities. The initiative aligns with QCIL’s sustainability goals amid rising energy demands in the healthcare sector, ensuring uninterrupted patient care through reliable renewable energy sources. The PPAs cover projects in states including Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka, with construction expected to commence within 12 months. QCIL’s move reflects a broader industry shift toward renewable energy adoption in critical infrastructure sectors.
