Quinbrook fully contracts 'Supernode' battery storage project with Stanwell for Stage 3 offtake

Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners has fully contracted its 'Supernode' battery storage project, securing a Stage 3 offtake agreement with Stanwell Corporation for a 250MW/4hr Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). This expansion brings the total installed capacity to 780 MW and 3,096 MWh, with Quinbrook's total investment in Supernode and Moreton Bay Shire expected to exceed $1.4 billion. The deal reinforces the strategic value of the South Pine site in Queensland's power system, supporting the region's clean energy demand and providing firmed renewable energy.
