French investment fund Rgreen Invest and Austrian partner Renalfa Solarpro have established a new joint venture, Renalfa Power Clusters (RPC), with a €200 million equity injection to develop 800 MW of hybrid renewable energy projects coupled with long-duration storage in Romania and Poland. This partnership aims to electrify heavy industries and data centers by leveraging electricity market volatility, building on a previous successful collaboration that operates over 655 MW of solar, wind, and storage capacity in Eastern Europe. The new entity targets a project portfolio valued at €800 million, focusing on high-consumption industries like steel, cement, and chemicals, as well as data centers.
