Rgreen Invest and Renalfa Solarpro form joint venture Renalfa Power Clusters to develop 800 MW hybrid renewable and storage projects in Poland and Romania with €200M equity injection

The formation of Renalfa Power Clusters (RPC) with a $200 million equity injection from RGREEN INVEST and Renalfa Solarpro Group targets the development of 800 MW of hybrid renewable and storage projects across Poland and Romania. This joint venture directly addresses grid stability challenges inherent in intermittent renewable generation by focusing on combined generation and storage solutions. RGREEN INVEST deploys significant capital into a diversified portfolio of next-generation assets, mitigating single-project risk while leveraging the development expertise of the Sofia-based Renalfa entities. The focus on hybrid solutions positions the venture to capture value from both energy production and ancillary services in two growing Eastern European markets. This capital commitment facilitates rapid scaling for the 800 MW capacity, accelerating project timelines in a competitive regional landscape. RGREEN INVEST, an independent French investment manager with over €4 billion in assets under management, gains direct exposure to a substantial 800 MW pipeline of hybrid projects, aligning with its specialization in energy transition infrastructure financing. This partnership provides a clear growth avenue for Renalfa Power Clusters, which currently manages over 200 MW of operational and under construction projects and holds a 1.5 GW development pipeline. The involvement of Sofia-based Renalfa Solarpro Group, a leading IPP and EPC contractor with over 1 GW of solar PV projects already developed and built, provides critical in-house development and construction capabilities for the new venture. This combined expertise allows Renalfa Power Clusters to accelerate the deployment of utility-scale solar PV and battery storage projects across Poland and Romania. The deal leverages Renalfa Solarpro Group's proven track record in solar PV development, now integrating storage to enhance project viability and market penetration in these specific Eastern European geographies.
