France-based investment firm RGREEN INVEST announced the final close of Infragreen V, its fifth equity vintage green infrastructure fund, raising over €900 million (USD$1 billion). The fund, which is Greenfin-labeled and classified as an Article 9 fund, will target European mid-market projects in renewable energy generation, energy storage, and electrification, with a focus on Central and Eastern Europe. Commitments were secured from a broad group of French and international institutional investors, including the European Investment Fund and the French Pension Reserve Fund.
