RWE has expanded its power purchase agreement with ASML to approximately 130MW of renewable capacity, extending the deal until 2038. This agreement builds on a partnership initially signed in 2021 and covers power from the Belgian Northwester 2 offshore wind farm and RWE's Dutch wind portfolio. The supply will include electricity from the OranjeWind offshore wind farm and the Kattenberg, Zuidwester, Westereems, and Oostpolderdijk onshore wind farms in the Netherlands. ASML will utilize this renewable electricity to power its facilities located in the Netherlands, supporting its increased digitalization needs. Dutch consultancy Energie Makelaar BV provided support in structuring this expanded agreement.
