Saipem awarded $500M offshore EPCI contract for Safaniya oil field in Saudi Arabia
Saipem has been awarded an additional offshore contract, valued at approximately $500 million, by Aramco for the Safaniya oil field in Saudi Arabia. The contract involves the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) of a 48-inch trunkline, spanning approximately 65 km offshore and 12 km onshore, along with associated subsea facilities. Offshore operations will utilize Saipem's construction vessels in the region, while fabrication activities will be carried out at Saipem's Saudi fabrication yard in Dammam. This award reinforces Saipem's long-standing presence and relationship with Aramco, leveraging its experience in strategic pipelines and offshore infrastructure.
