This agreement will facilitate the development of an integrated solar and BESS hybrid project, alongside two standalone BESS facilities, aimed at providing round-the-clock renewable baseload power and grid stability services. The project, representing the largest solar and battery storage installation in Africa and Scatec's biggest investment, will operate under a 25-year, USD-denominated PPA, with Scatec also responsible for EPC, Asset Management, and O&M services.
