SSE brings 31MW Littleton solar farm online

SSE has brought its 31MW Littleton solar farm online near Evesham in Worcestershire, following a two-year construction program that began in December 2023. The newly operational solar farm is capable of generating enough clean electricity to power approximately 10,000 homes annually. This project marks SSE's first operational solar asset delivered in partnership with Grupotec as the main contractor. The 77-acre site incorporates measures to protect and enhance local biodiversity, including maintaining hedgerows and planting new trees.
