Stellantis and Microsoft sign five-year agreement to migrate to Microsoft Azure and co-develop AI capabilities
Netherlands-based automaker Stellantis signed a five-year agreement with Microsoft to migrate its workloads to Microsoft Azure and modernize its IT infrastructure, aiming to reduce its data center footprint by 60% by 2029. The collaboration includes co-developing AI, cybersecurity, and engineering capabilities, targeting over 100 AI initiatives across customer care, product development, and business operations. Stellantis, which operates automotive brands including Jeep, Fiat, and Peugeot across 30 countries, will leverage Microsoft's cloud and AI platforms to accelerate innovation in vehicle technology and customer experiences.
