Subsea7 awarded subsea installation contract for Aseng Gas Monetisation Project offshore Equatorial Guinea
Subsea7 secured a contract from Noble Energy EG Ltd (a Chevron Company) to provide subsea installation services for the Aseng Gas Monetisation Project offshore Equatorial Guinea. The scope includes transporting and installing 19 kilometers of rigid production flowline and 20 kilometers of umbilicals, along with associated subsea structures and tie-ins in 800-meter water depths. Project management and engineering will commence immediately from Subsea7’s Paris office, with offshore activities expected to begin in 2026. The project involves a single-well tieback connecting the Aseng field to the existing Alen platform, marking a key milestone in Subsea7’s long-term collaboration with Chevron in West Africa. Subsea7 has operated in Equatorial Guinea for nearly two decades, supporting offshore construction and inspection, maintenance, and repair activities.
