Sunstone Power 2 receives environmental approval for La Alegría Solar project in Campeche, Mexico

Sunstone Power 2 secured environmental approval from Semarnat for its 788.719 MWp La Alegría Solar photovoltaic project, which includes a 177.69 MW / 314.98 MWh battery energy storage system. The project, located in the municipality of Campeche, will have a net installed capacity of 600.00 MW and an AC capacity of 694.274 MWac. It involves the installation of 1,151,416 photovoltaic modules and will deploy infrastructure across approximately 1,206.9708 hectares of private land. The development includes a 34.5 kV to 400 kV booster substation, a maneuvering substation, low and medium voltage networks, and a 2.85 km 400 kV transmission line for interconnection to the National Electric System.
