Taiwan Power Company to reactivate Maanshan nuclear power plant
Taiwan Power Company (Taipower) is studying the reactivation of the Maanshan nuclear power plant by 2028 due to energy security concerns. The state-owned company will present a plan this month to restart generation, following a safety review of its facilities. Westinghouse has been commissioned to evaluate the condition of the plant's generators.
