TCS and Siemens Energy sign MoUs to develop AI-ready data center infrastructure in India

Indian IT services firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) signed two non-binding Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with Siemens Energy AG to collaborate on AI and digital engineering for industrial operations and data center infrastructure in India. The agreements formalize TCS as Siemens Energy’s preferred IT partner, focusing on modernizing digital infrastructure with an emphasis on resilience, security, and cost efficiency. Siemens Energy India will contribute expertise in power generation, electrification, and grid technologies to TCS’s HyperVault platform to address energy requirements for high-density AI workloads. The collaboration aims to create scalable digital infrastructure solutions, leveraging TCS’s expertise in AI, cloud, and large-scale engineering. Christian Bruch, Siemens Energy’s president and CEO, highlighted India’s role as a vital market for global growth ambitions through this partnership. K. Krithivasan, TCS’s MD and CEO, emphasized the importance of modernizing core technologies and scaling AI across operations to drive competitiveness.
