TotalEnergies and Google have entered into a 21-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for 1 TWh (equivalent to 20 MW) of certified renewable power from the Citra Energies solar plant in Malaysia. This agreement will support Google's data center operations in Malaysia, with the solar farm scheduled to begin construction in early 2026. The project was awarded to TotalEnergies (49%) and MK Land (51%) by the Malaysian Energy Commission in August 2023, aligning with Google's strategy to enable new clean energy for its infrastructure.
