TotalEnergies, alongside partners Basra Oil Company and QatarEnergy, has commenced construction on the Common Seawater Supply Project (CSSP) and the full field development of the Ratawi oil field in Iraq. These projects represent the final two major contracts of the Gas Growth Integrated Project (GGIP), aiming to sustainably develop Iraq's natural resources, improve electricity supply, and preserve freshwater resources by processing and transporting 5 million barrels of seawater per day to southern Iraqi oil fields.
