Trina Solar starts construction of 60 MW Mabini solar project in Philippines

Trina Solar has commenced construction of the 60 MW Mabini solar project in the Philippines, marking its first greenfield investment in the country. The project, located in Mabini Town, involves a PHP 1.9 billion ($32.3 million) investment. China International Engineering Corporation (CIEC) is serving as the EPC contractor. A 20-year PPA has been signed with AdventEnergy, with commercial operation expected by the end of the third quarter of 2026.
