TrueRE Oriana Power signs INR 3,135 crore green ammonia offtake agreement with SECI for Madhya Bharat Agro Products Ltd

TrueRE Oriana Power has signed a long-term green ammonia purchase agreement (GAPA) with Solar Energy Corp. of India (SECI) to supply 60,000 tonnes of green ammonia per annum over ten years. The total contract value is approximately INR 3,135 crore at a discovered price of INR 52.25 per kg. Madhya Bharat Agro Products Ltd is the end-offtaker, with SECI acting as the intermediary procurer for this material green energy transaction. TrueRE Oriana Power received the Letter of Award (LoA) for this project in August 2025 under the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) programme. The project, located in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, will involve TrueRE Oriana Power handling end-to-end execution, including development, approvals, and land-related clearances.
