The UK government's GBE-N awarded a £300 million ($396M) contract to a joint venture between Amentum and Cavendish Nuclear (Litmus Nuclear) to serve as the owner’s engineer for the deployment of three Rolls-Royce SMR plants at the Wylfa site in north Wales. The 14-year agreement will support design, safety, engineering, construction, and commissioning activities, aiming for a final investment decision to deliver 1,410 MW of low-carbon nuclear power.
