The proposed development would cover around 72.9 hectares, with approximately 30 hectares allocated for solar panels. The PV project is expected to operate for around 40 years, after which the site would be decommissioned and the land restored in line with planning requirements. If planning permission is granted, a community benefit fund will be established once the site becomes operational. Community consultation events will be held at Sutton Bonington Village Hall on 18 March and 8 April, along with virtual consultations online.
