Vestas secures 186MW turbine supply and 10-year O&M contract with EDF Power Solutions for Forêt Domaniale wind project in Quebec
Vestas secured a 186MW turbine supply and 10-year Active Output Management 5000 service agreement with EDF Power Solutions North America for the Forêt Domaniale wind project in Quebec, Canada. The contract covers 28 EnVentus V162-6.2MW turbines and two V162-6.0MW units, with delivery starting in Q2 2027 and commissioning expected by Q4 2027. EDF Power Solutions partnered with Quebec-based Marmen as the tower supplier, supporting 150 direct jobs in Matane. This marks Vestas' third project with EDF Power Solutions in Quebec within the past year, following the 275MW Madawaska and 124MW Haute-Chaudière projects. Laura Beane, president of Vestas North America, highlighted the collaboration's role in unlocking large-scale renewable development across Quebec.
