X1 Wind receives DNV certification for X100 floating offshore wind platform design

X1 Wind received a Statement of Compliance from DNV for the basic design of its X100 floating offshore wind platform, confirming it meets international engineering and safety standards under the DNV-SE-0442 certification framework. This certification is a key milestone for X1 Wind's floating wind technology, validating the platform's structural design, stability, and hydrodynamic performance for a 25-year service life. The X100 platform is designed for turbines with power ratings between 6 MW and 10 MW and is scheduled for deployment at the PLEMCAT test site in the Spanish Mediterranean Sea as part of the NextFloat project.
