The EOI is for long-term renewable-energy partnerships. YEC's flagship initiative, Project Baru Marnda, has been granted Strategic Project status by the Western Australian Government and is on the National Renewable Energy Priority List by the Australian Government. The proposed Chichester Range Transmission Corridor (CRTC) has Project Priority status under the State Government’s Pilbara Energy Transmission Plan and is also on the National Renewable Energy Priority List. YEC's large-scale renewable-energy hub will combine coastal wind resources, Pilbara solar and battery-storage systems. The EOI aims to enable industrial decarbonisation, strengthen transmission access and enhance long-term regional energy security. YEC prioritises Traditional Owner leadership, culturally respectful development practices and collaborative engagement.
