This vPPA structure allows Graphic Packaging International, a leading global provider of sustainable fiber-based packaging solutions, to mitigate electricity price volatility and advance its sustainability targets across its extensive global footprint of over 130 facilities without direct asset ownership. Zelestra benefits from a long-term revenue stream for its Villamañán project, which its internal EPC division commissioned, showcasing its integrated development and construction capabilities in Spain. The 19 MWdc capacity from the Villamañán plant provides financial hedging for Graphic Packaging International, linking its energy costs to the facility's output, while Zelestra retains operational control and market exposure for the physical power in León.
