Zeron secures over €150 million capital injection from Nio, CATL, and Momenta for heavy electric trucks
Chinese startup Zeron, specializing in heavy electric trucks, has secured a capital injection of over €150 million. The funding comes from EV manufacturer Nio, battery giant CATL, and autonomous driving solutions provider Momenta, supporting Zeron's development in the electric transport sector.

Zeron was founded in April 2022 by former executives from TuSimple and Sany Truck. By the end of 2025, Zeron had delivered over 1,600 units of its two models, Jingzhe and Xiaoman. Zeron plans to launch regular driverless operations in the second quarter of 2026 and has set a target to deliver 5,000 heavy-duty trucks this year. Zeron expects to reach its break-even point as early as this year. Momenta has invested in Zeron for the fourth time. Zeron previously announced a funding round worth 500 million yuan (approx. €63 million Euros) in July 2025.
