Supply Agreement Offshore Wind announced Germany Apr 28, 2026

Polish steel fabricator ZKS Ferrum secured a contract from Dajin Offshore to supply steel structures for the Nordseecluster B offshore wind project, a 1.6GW development co-developed by RWE and Norges Bank Investment Management. The agreement covers the manufacturing of 20 sets of secondary steel structures to support offshore installations, with production already underway at ZKS Ferrum's facilities in Katowice and Gdynia. The contract is expected to sustain approximately 100 jobs across the company's Polish operations and is part of the broader Nordseecluster, whose second phase (Nordseecluster B) is slated to enter commercial operation in early 2029. Adam Kowalski, head of supply chain management at Dajin Offshore, highlighted that the collaboration combines advanced engineering solutions with ZKS Ferrum's large-scale fabrication capabilities to meet the demands of complex offshore wind projects. The deal underscores the growing role of Polish industrial suppliers in Europe's offshore wind supply chain amid the continent's accelerated renewable energy expansion.
