Yaqoot, the digital platform of Zain KSA, a leading telecommunications provider in Saudi Arabia, formed a strategic partnership with Huawei to upgrade its Business Support Systems (BSS) as part of a broader digital transformation initiative. The collaboration aims to enhance operational efficiency, enable faster market responsiveness, and accelerate the development of digital products and services through advanced automation and analytics. Huawei will provide next-generation BSS solutions, including intelligent charging and billing systems, leveraging its expertise in telecom rating and billing for over 2.5 billion subscribers globally. The partnership aligns with Yaqoot’s goal to redefine its digital infrastructure on robust foundations, supporting a more agile operating model and hyper-personalized customer experiences. Executive Vice President of Strategy and Innovation at Zain KSA, Njoud bint Mohammed AlShehri, emphasized the partnership’s role in accelerating digital transformation in the Kingdom in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
